A true and collaborative OHIO release...

Soul Step Records introduces Doc Robinson as the artist behind SSR-032. Their latest record, "Licks, Vol. 1" finds Doc Robinson collaborating with Four String Brewing, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, and Soul Step Records.

Doc Robinson reached out last year and spoke with Soul Step about making an Ohio-flavored record in the vein of BLAKROC. BLAKROC saw The Black Keys write music for a plethora of Hip-Hop & R&B artists. 

Doc Robinson has created the templates and palettes for many Ohio artists to paint upon.  

We're excited to share a record that has been written, recorded, mastered, and pressed in Ohio. Done by Ohio artists, and pressed by an Ohio label.
